Our Level 2 Contributor status, with 30.10% Black Women Ownership and an overall compliance score of 86.72%, reflects our ongoing commitment to inclusive growth.

This achievement is driven by Ms Lebo Mbete, a long-serving Group Executive and shareholder. As a Black female owner, she plays a pivotal role in ensuring RTG is represented with professionalism and credibility across industry, public, and community platforms, strengthening our position as a responsible and inclusive leader in logistics.

Our B-BBEE Focus Areas

  • Transport Clerk Learnership launched in 2018 for Black women in critical transport sector roles. Since inception, 284 participants, with 53 permanently employed.
  • Skills Programme for Black Female Participation introduced in 2022, with 191+ participants to date.
  • Professional Truck Driver Programme through CPD Academy.
  • Bursaries:
    • 2024: 8 women funded for Mechanical Engineering N4 (3-year scholarships).
    • 2025: 22 bursaries across Business Management, HR, Marketing, Engineering, and Finance.

30.10% Black Women Ownership at Group level.

Compliant suppliers monitored monthly through a Group-wide platform, targeting 80% spend compliance.

Long-term investment in community upliftment programmes, with initiatives spanning education, training, and social responsibility.
